Studio A - Live Room

The Studio A "live room" is about 6000 cubic feet with 10-12' ceilings. There are no parallel surfaces in the room, allowing for ample use of room mics, and the floated floor is covered with lovely 100 year old maple planks which lend a "vintage" vibe to the space. Tuning the room for various levels of reverberation is as simple as bringing more or taking away less of the hanging sound baffles, which are interspersed throughout the studio. A very lively room sound can be quickly be created by removing as many baffles as needed, and a tight space is created by simply hanging more baffles!
